TITLE:                                                                                                    Lead Utility

QUALIFICATIONS:                                                                           

• Valid CDL drivers license.
• Be in good physical condition.
• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

REPORTS TO:                                                                                      Maintenance Director

SUPERVISES:                                                                                      Utility Crew

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Plan all jobs and order materials.
• Oversee jobs and make sure they are done safely.
• Check equipment and make sure it is in safe working condition.
• Fencing: Repair of old and installation of new fencing.
• Operate all heavy equipment.
• Delivery of heavy equipment.
• Asphalt repair.
• Dirt Work.
• Delivery of tests to all sites and picking up the same.
• Assist other trades with large jobs.
• Picking up and delivery of many, many items throughout the district, from boxes to pianos, etc.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:                                                         

Twelve-month basis.  Salary to be established by the Board of Education.

EVALUATION:                                                                                   

Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy.
