TITLE: Curriculum Office Secretary (Bilingual Preferred)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Proficient typing and keyboarding skills.
- Working knowledge of basic office procedure and the operation of equipment.
- Experience in operating Office Software (Word, Access, Excel, etc....).
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may appropriate and acceptable.
REPORTS TO: Director of Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment
JOB GOAL: To assure the smooth and efficient operation of the curriculum
office including federal programs, in order to maximize the positive impact on the educational practices of curriculum specialists.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performs the usual office routines and practices associated with a busy yet productive and efficient office
- Prepares correspondence, reports, notices and recommendations as required
- Maintains test scores for Federal Programs as required
- Obtains, gathers, and organizes pertinent data as needed, and puts it into usable form
- Maintains a regular filing system, as well as a set of locked confidential files, and processes incoming correspondence
- Assist and communicate with teachers as needed
- Welcomes and assists parents and visitors as needed
- Performs such other duties as may be assigned
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Eleven month year. Salary to be established by the Board.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board's policy on Evaluation of Professional Personnel.
