TITLE: Parent and Family Engagement Coordinator
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, and/or education or related field.
- Bilingual preferred
- Such alternative to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable
REPORTS TO: Executive Director of Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for district family engagement programs
- Researches and provides relevant district-wide parent and family involvement professional development
- Facilitates district wide parent and family education events
- Supports school sites in parent and family engagement strategies
- Oversees the assessment and implementation of a district wide parent and family engagement model
- Works to build partnerships with organizations and school sites to support family engagement
- Develops and provides family engagement materials and resources
- Coordinates title program requirements for family engagement
- Provides supporting documents, resources, strategies and leadership for Title I parental involvement requirements
- Updates required parent engagement policies
- Other duties as assigned

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Twelve-month basis. Salary to be established by the Board.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually in accordance with provisions of the Board’s Policy.
