Human Resources Insurance Coordinator II (Updated 2022)
INSURANCE COORDINATOR II RESPONSIBILITIES
- Processing health insurance enrollments, changes and terminations for employees N – Z.
- Processing district paid and voluntary life insurance enrollments, changes, and terminations and collecting and maintaining beneficiary information for all employees.
- Processing health and life insurance terminations and enrollments for employees listed on Board Report.
- Reconciling monthly life insurance bills for district paid and voluntary life insurance.
- Collecting and maintaining health insurance waivers.
- Completing Employer’s Report of Claim for disability claims and faxing disability claims to American Fidelity.
- Collecting payments for American Fidelity products from employees on leave of absence and sending payments to American Fidelity each month.
- Processing monthly and annual Affordable Care Act reports and sending letters to those who qualify.
- Presenting insurance and benefit information at yearly new hire orientations.
- Answering phone calls and emails regarding insurance and benefits.
- Filling in at receptionist desk while receptionist is on breaks and lunches.
- Bilingual preferred but not required.
