Title: Receptionist/Secretary PC Center
Qualifications:
- Bi-lingual with English and Spanish preferred
- A reasonable degree of proficiency in typing and keyboarding
- Working knowledge of basic office procedures and the operation of common office equipment
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent customer service philosophy and skills
Reports To: Director of Student Services
Job Goal: To assist visitors with direction, guidance and monitoring the safety and security of those entering the building.
Performance Responsibilities:
- Respectfully greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the PCC Center.
- Maintain building security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (maintain a logbook, issue visitor badges).
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
- Answer, screen and forward incoming phone calls.
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
- Receive and process deliveries.
- Maintain office supplies and keep inventory of stock.
- Schedule meetings as required.
- Perform other clerical and receptionist duties and other duties as assigned.
Terms of Employment: Twelve months position.
Evaluation: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually
in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy
on evaluation of non-certified personnel.
